A pair of Jamaican windsor arm chairs, with great turnings, labelled on the seat by one of the owners, Samuel E. Payne, Montego Bay. Mahogany.
Purchased in the 1970's at Harmony House auction. Early to mid 19th C.
Due to their handmade nature, one of the chairs is slight smaller in scale than the other, typical of Jamaican windsors.
